FLOVENT™ INSULSAND™ LAYFLAT
|
|
|
|
FloVent™ is a molecularly bonded; heat-sealed collapsible blower tubing designed for demanding positive-pressure applications. The tubing is collapsible, flexible and extremely resistant to external abrasion, deterioration and fatigue. It has excellent UV Stabilization for outdoor use, mold and mild ew inhibitors and the fabric meets California Fire Marshall Code Approvals and UL94VTM-O Standards. Available Color: Yellow
This Design utilizes a Heat-Sealed (Welded) Construction with an extended inner liner and elastic seals at connection joints to minimize air loss.

The Outer Layer
The outer shell consists of VentaTex® 20X High Strength fabric. The VentaTex® 20X is a 3-ply PVC fabric, weighing 20 ounces per square yard, with a minimum grab tensile strength of 440 pounds x 390 pounds. To improve abrasion resistance, there are 9 mils of PVC on the external wear surface. This laminate is manufactured by ABC Industries by sandwiching 18x14, 840/1000 d. Polyester yarns between PVC films. Finished material thickness is .023" ± .002".
The Middle Layer
The middle layer consists of stitch bonded Polyester insulation.
The Inner Layer
The inner sleeve of VentaTex® 11-1814 High Strength material is a 3-ply PVC fabric, weighing 11 ounces per square yard. This is manufactured by ABC Industries by sandwiching 18x14, 500/500 d. Polyester yarns between PVC films. Minimum grab tensile strength is 235 pounds x 182 pounds. Finished material thickness is .016" ± .002".
